If you want to understand the callousness of our economic system and those in charge of it, this Pelosi interview should be probative. Inasmuch as I know this stuff, just hearing her saying not only made my blood boil but increased my resolve to expose our form of antiseptic slavery to the corporations and a government they so influence.

Speaker Pelosi wanted this out there.

In a recent interview, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell that Trump’s Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin had a very disturbing statement. During their Sunday negotiations, she said she wanted to quote Pope Francis.

Pelosi said the pope said, “Those who have responsibility for the care of people would be enlightened to take responsibility.”

She was shocked by Mnuchin’s response. She thought he would give a meaningful response, a compassionate one needed in these times. Maybe in her dreams could she expect that. By now we should know the modus operandi of those controlled by our plutocracy is financial growth at all cost.

“While you are quoting as pope,” Mnuchin said. “I am going to quote the markets.”

This should not be surprising. Last night Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick insinuated that old people are willing to die to prevent an economic downturn. He implied it was the right thing to open up the economy for their grandchildren’s sake. These people are psychopaths.
