Chuck Todd interviewed Admiral Brett Giroir who is a member of Trump’s COVID-19 task force. Chuck pretty much cornered the Admiral and he was forced to contradict the president two+ times on Hydroxychloroquine.

“Look, I know you’re not a political person,” Chuck Todd said. “But the president continues to advocate for Hydroxychloroquine. Is that a danger to public health?”

The admiral is in a corner now. Why? He either lies, further losing his reputation by appeasing the president, or he tells the truth. He chose the latter.

“At this point in time, there’s been five randomized controlled, placebo controlled trials that do not show any benefit to Hydroxychloroquine,” Brett Giroir said. “So, at this point in time, we don’t recommend that as a treatment. There’s no evidence to show that it is. We have many things that do work. Right now, Hydroxychloroquine, I can’t recommend that.”

Earlier in the clip Doctor Anthony Fauci was unequivocal about Hydroxychloroquine not being effective.

“Hydroxychloroquine is not effective,” Fauci said. “in the treatment of coronavirus disease or COVID-19.”

Even Dr. Deborah Birx is not continuing her lying sycophancy. She has issued a serious warning.

“What we are seeing today is different from March and April. It is extraordinarily widespread. It’s into the rural as equal urban areas,” Birx, the White House coronavirus task force coordinator, told CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union.”

Birx stressed that Americans need to follow health recommendations, including wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.

“To everybody who lives in a rural area, you are not immune or protected from this virus,” Birx said. “If you’re in multi-generational households, and there’s an outbreak in your rural area or in your city, you need to really consider wearing a mask at home, assuming that you’re positive, if you have individuals in your households with comorbidities.”

“This epidemic right now is different and it’s more widespread and it’s both rural and urban,” she added.

The walls are closing in on Trump.
