Jen Psaki disses Donald Trump on helping with COVID vaccinations with a tactful slash.

WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki had a very tactful dis of Trump when asked if the Biden administration would ask him to convince MAGA folk to get the COVID vaccine.

Did Jen Psaki diss Trump? Yep!

Jen Psaki is really good at what she does. A new narrative to get Donald Trump into the vaccine game came from a statement from Dr. Fauci as reported by Yahoo! News.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday he wishes former President Donald Trump would use his popularity among Republicans to persuade more of his followers to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

In a round of interviews on the morning news shows, the government’s top infectious disease expert lamented polling showing that Trump supporters are more likely to refuse to get vaccinated, saying politics needs to be separated from “commonsense, no-brainer” public health measures.

Fauci said it would be a “game changer” for the country’s vaccine efforts if the former president used his “incredible influence” among Republicans.

“If he came out and said, ‘Go and get vaccinated. It’s really important for your health, the health of your family and the health of the country,’ it seems absolutely inevitable that the vast majority of people who are his close followers would listen to him,” Fauci told “Fox News Sunday.”

Jen Psaki used a reporter’s question to sort of nip that in the bud. She said, “wink-wink” of course if Donald Trump wanted to talk to his supporters, they would welcome that. But …

“Also, I think what’s important to note is that as I noted, 81% of Republicans said they would trust their own doctor or healthcare provider, and that is an important place to invest,” Psaki said. “Every other living former president, or most of them, have participated in a public campaign.”

In other words, President Trump can do as he pleases. But people do trust a liar but their healthcare providers. And Trump is the only selfish president not to use his position to promote that Americans get vaccinated. It is not at all difficult to convert her statement to a non-political answer.
