Jen Psaki did not hesitate as she defended UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield for claiming the truth about America’s beginning

Psaki defended UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, an African American woman. The NewsMax reporter asked if President Biden would fire her for claiming the truth about America’s white supremacist beginning.

Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said that white supremacy is “weaved” into America’s “founding documents” during a speech Wednesday to the National Action Network. “I have seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles,” said Thomas-Greenfield.
In addition to her remarks on white supremacy and its history in the U.S., Thomas-Greenfield told the activist organization that issues of “equity and justice” must be approached with “humility.”
Thomas-Greenfield also said the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery resulted from the nation’s institutionalized white supremacy.“Of course, when we raise issues of equity and justice at the global scale, we have to approach them with humility,” she said at a virtual conference. “We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union – and have been since the beginning – and every day we strive to make ourselves more perfect, and more just.”
Jen Psaki did not fall for the trap. The reporter was very subtle in her attempt to create dissension.
The reporter said that the ambassador was parroting the propaganda that China was spewing at the summit with Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Unfortunately, one cannot hide from reality. Should we deny the truth because it came from someone using it as a bludgeon?
That is why the UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield is talking about humility when dealing with other countries. America has its own sins as well.
The final question from the reporter proves her shallowness, ineptitude, and lack of knowledge.
“That’s essentially the same lecture though that the Chinese Delegation gave Secretary Blinken in Alaska last month,” the reporter said. “So does the President think our founding documents are racist?”
Did she forget that the founding documents classified blacks as three-fifths of a person? Yes, the documents were racists. Did she forget we needed a constitutional amendment to allow women to vote? Yes, the documents were sexist.
We will become a better country when we are honest about our past and present. We will become a better country when we take our heads out of the sand.
