Do you remember Miles Taylor? Yes, the Trump administration appointee who served in the United States Department of Homeland Security from 2017 to 2019, including as Chief of Staff to former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan. And most notoriously the one who penned The New York Times op-ed “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration” under the pen-name “Anonymous,” which drew widespread attention for its criticism of Trump.

Well, Miles is not just after Trump now. He is after the Trump sycophants and enablers. He was not kind to the Republican Party.

Nicolle Wallace pointed out that the Republican Party was rotten to its core. She then asked Taylor why should one remain a Republican. He used that as an open door to scold the party. He made it clear he would be a Republican holdout until he was sure the party was immutable. Taylor then lit into the GOP,

“We’ve learned three important critical things,” Taylor said. “That helps answer that question this week. John, right now in the Republican Party lying is a litmus test. ,,, Number 2, I think we learned that the Civil War in the Republican Party is not ending with Liz’s ouster. And number 3, that civil war within the party is going to have enormous consequences.
