To me, the reason and only reason women’s bodies are controlled is that men cannot control their own bodies. Women may be the mothers and child bearers, but we are also the sexual desire of men. This is natural, but not to the point of regulating what excites a man by regulating women. Many African tribal women, to use our terms, walk around half-naked. It is not sexual. But even in America, where laws say women can show their breasts, they are still fined. Why? One reason; men cannot handle it. (As a side joke, my mother always said god made man’s desire for women great because men are so lazy they would never procreate).
Our society does not show the normal functions of our bodies, i.e., going to the bathroom on TV, etc. A man taking a shower is shown, not his manly parts, but the rest. He showers and that’s it. A woman takes a shower and it’s made sexual, showing her legs moving a certain way, ‘teasing’ men by almost showing her female parts, hence men are conditioned from very young it is sexual. If they were conditioned from a very young age that it’s just a body, as in Africa et al, this would not be the case.
So, men create the dilemma, then create laws to help them not have a dilemma. Hence why we have the laws, the rapes, the inappropriate touching, etc.
Imagine women saying a man’s chest, legs and butt are sexy and so they must be covered. Men with beards may be sexy and so too must be covered. Oh and what about their locks of hair, gotta cover that up to.
Now tell a man the reason they have nipples is that babies are born female and then change to male. Imagine men thinking they were born female? HA!
Did You Know It Was Illegal For Men To Show Their Nipples In Public In The 1930s?
Up until the mid-1930s, it was illegal to publicly flaunt the male nipple in public. Men were forced to wear nipple-covering swimsuits prior to 1936 when it became legal to expose nipples in New York State. In the early 1930s, a group of men gathered on Coney Island to fight for their right to swim and sunbathe in shirtless swim trunks. Then in 1936, these men legally gained the right to show their nipples in public, laying the foundation for existing New York state laws that allow women to be topless wherever a man is legally allowed to be. Yet today, women can still be charged with public indecency, disturbing the peace, or lewd behavior for going topless.
