Pundit Cornell Belcher made a statement about women taking over political leadership. It is clear women’s leadership around the world is successful.
Women Rule
Cornell Belcher appeared on Meet The Press. Chuck Todd read a piece of the interview New York Governor Andrew Cuomo gave to New York Magazine.
“I feel like I did the right thing. I did the right thing for the state,” Cuomo told New York Magazine of his decision to resign. “I’m not gonna drag the state through the mud, through a three-month, four-month impeachment, and then win, and have made the State Legislature and the state government look like a ship of fools.”
Belcher had the best response to the interview.
“You know,” Belcher said. “Our politics is going to be a lot better when women are running more of our government, and there are more women governors, more women senators, and more women congressmen. … I mean, the arrogance of, of, of man has run its course in politics. And women are saying, “time’s up.” I feel like I should be letting you two talk about this. But our time is up here, and that sort of the arrogant statement that he made is unacceptable.”
After watching this, I decided to search to find how many countries were led by women. There are 24. Interestingly, most of the countries I reviewed were doing much better than we are doing with COVID. It did not matter if the country was in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, or Asia.
Just maybe, we need to relinquish control to estrogen. Testosterone seems to be a problem right now and has been for some time.
