MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace did not let up on Governor Chris Christie for his misleading book that gives Fox News a pass for their lies.
Nicolle Wallace slams Chris Christie about Fox News
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie likely did not expect the grilling he got from Nicolle Wallace. She started her necessary attack relatively quickly.
“The book is called, it’s about conspiracies and lies, and you really don’t take on Fox News,” Nicolle Wallace said. “Why not?”
As Christie tried to defend his purposeful ineptitude, she asked him if he does not watch the likes of Fox News’s Tucker Carlson. He claims he ignores them. She then asked him how he could have attacked CNN, the New York Times, MSNBC, and not Fox News.
He said he did not attack them about conspiracies but bias. Nicolle interjected and asked the pertinent question. Is bias worse than conspiracy theorists? He claimed he took on conspiracies and that Nicolle was conflating issues.
“I am not conflating issues,” Nicolle slammed back. “I do not think it is an intellectually honest case to make against conspiracy theories without taking on Fox.”
But this one got to Christie.
“You want to run for president,” Nicolle asked. “What’s your relationship with Fox News?
It does not get better for Chris Christie. Nicolle continues to hammer him for the hypocrisy emanating from his book. It was clear Christie was perturbed.
