A Right-Wing listener had a litany of gripes about Joe Biden’s economy. I was ready as we all should be.
Biden’s Economy is just fine. Disregard the Right-Wing
I cherish all of the listeners of my program. I don’t appease anyone, whether left, right, or Right-Wing. Somehow, I continue to have a high percentage of Right-Wingers and just a few trolls.
Today one of my Conservatives-turned-right-winger thought he had just the right question for me. It was right out of Fox News, NewsMax, or OAN ‘s modus operandi. But I am always ready for these types of questions.
Before talking about his question, it is essential to know that Biden’s economy is doing just fine. CNBC’s Ron Insana said the following recently.
“Wages have gone up about six percent, so the real loss of purchasing power is close to one percent rather than the seven percent inflation number that everybody talks about,” Insani said. “So wages have gone up—the economy’s strong. Employment is strong, and I think this temporary increase in inflation will, as the fed used to say, prove transitory. And I think people will find that their purchasing power will get stronger as the year goes on.”
My listener attempted to put inflation, supply chain disruption, oil prices, and much more on Biden’s back. But I was ready. We should all have this narrative ready for these cookie-cutter attacks.
