TRUMPIAN CIVIL WAR: Mo Brooks tells MSNBC Trump wanted him to be part of a coup in September 2021.

Mo Brooks is spilling the beans on Donald Trump, and it proves that as late as September 2021, Trump was attempting a coup on the United States.

Mo Brooks was complicit in coup attempt

Remember Congressman Mo Brooks? During the January 6th attempted coup on the United States by the Trump insurrectionists, he is the one who said the following.

“As such today,” Mo Brooks said. “It’s important in another way. Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass. Our ancestors sacrificed their blood, their sweat, their tears, their fortunes, and sometimes their lives …”

Trump had endorsed Brooks for the Senate. As his fortunes in the polls started falling, Trump may have been looking for a way out. Well, he used a comment from Brooks about forgetting about the 2020 election to rescind his endorsement.

Former President Donald Trump Wednesday withdrew his endorsement of U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks for Congress, accusing him of not supporting his false claims the 2020 presidential election was stolen. In a statement, Trump called the conservative congressman “woke” and cited comments made by Brooks at a rally in Cullman last August, where Brooks echoed Trump’s false claims but told the crowd to “put that behind you” and look ahead to future elections.

Well, Mo Brooks seemed to have revoked his loyalty.

Here is the interview he gave MSNBC’s Vaughn Hillyard.

Vaughn Hillyard: Did he directly tell you to fight to decertify the election? The 2020 election?

Mo Brooks: He did not use the word decertify. He used the word rescind.

Vaughn Hillyard: Rescind. What did that mean to you?

Mo Brooks: I’m a lawyer. Pretty soon means that you’re going void.

Mo Brooks: I explained to the president that what you ask is legally impossible and a violation of any state’s constitution. And I’m not going to do it.

Vaughn Hillyard: Did he directly say that there should be a new special election for the presidency?

Mo Brooks: And in one of the conversations he mentioned, having a subsequent election for the presidency.

Vaughn Hillyard: In this was after this Labor Day.

Mo Brooks: After September 1st and 20.

The Trumpian Civil War will only grow as people fear Trump less and less. Get the popcorn. It is going to be a fun ride as we watch the paper tigers.
