Jen Psaki dispatched two reporters trying to ding the president for calling some Republicans ULTRA MAGA

Jen Psaki Ultra MAGA

Jen Psaki did not let a great opportunity pass her by to define Republicans with the help of two reporters attempting to do the opposite.

Jen Psaki provides the whole Ultra MAGA narrative

Jen Psaki rarely disappoints when reporters who clearly do not have the well-being of the American people in their narratives ask stupid questions. Today she got a twofer and made great use of it.

“Here is a question on messaging,” the silly reporter said. “Who came up with this phrase, Ultra MAGA? Why the need to kick it up a notch. MAGA wasn’t enough? I mean, why now use this phrase.”

Really? Did you ask the same when the Right used snowflakes and other pejoratives? I don’t think so.

Well, Psaki was ready. And she did not disappoint.

“I will tell you that it’s the president’s phrase,” Jen Psaki responded amusingly. “And the president made those comments himself just last week, as you know. And I think what has struck him is how extreme some of the policies and proposals are that a certain wing of the Republican Party that is taking up too much of the Republican Party are advocating for.”

Psaki then enumerated the evils that extreme Republicans were unleashing on the American population.

Another reporter then joined the silly fold.

“So then who is,” another called-on reporter joined in. “You know, for MAGA Republicans.”

Psaki did not name all the names as she mixed coyness where necessary.

“I would say, people who support that portion of the Republican agenda,” Psaki replied.

But that reporter wanted names.

“Rob Portman, Susan Collins, Mitt Romney,” the reporter called out. “Whether they be ultra mega.”

Psaki’s answer was simple.

“They can all make their own choices, Ed,” Psaki replied. “And I can we can let others evaluate that. But I would say that the president’s view is those who support a plan by Rick Scott, by Chairman Scott, that would raise taxes on 75 million Americans and get rid of, sunset, eliminate whatever you want to call it, Medicare and Social Security. That’s a MAGA position. And that includes the chairman of the Republican National Committee. That’s a MAGA position. That is the chairman of the party. So that’s what the president considers. But also, obviously, given two thirds of the American people, according to a Fox News poll, believe that women’s that Roe v Wade should be protected. If you’re on the other side of that, you’re supporting an ultra MAGAposition in the president’s view.”
