Dr. Jason Johnson slams Republicans for running Herschel Walker against Raphael Warnock

Dr. Jason Johnson points out that GOP thinks black Americans are so dumb that they will run the severely flawed black football player Herschel Walker against Reverend Warnock.

Dr. Jason Johnson illustrates an embarrassing Herschel Walker

Dr. Jason Johnson played a couple of clips to illustrate that Herschel Walker was definitely not ready for prime time.

A Walker bizarre statement.

“At one-time science said man came from apes,” Herschel Walker said. “If that is true, why are there still apes?”

Herschel, it turns out an evolved species does not preclude the possibility of the previous. But I thought that was settled science, sir.

A 2nd Walker bizarre statement.

“Senator Lewis, one of the greatest senators there’s ever been,” Walker said. “To throw his name on a bill for voting rights, I think, is a shame. First of all, when you look at the bill, it just doesn’t fit with what John Lewis stood for.”

Herschel, first of all, John Lewis was a Congressman. Secondly, everything in the bill is what John Lewis has fought for his entire life. History, sir?

Another Walker bizarre Statement.

“Right now, I have something that would clean you from COVID as you walk through this dry mix,” Walker said stupidly. “EPA FDA approved. They don’t want you to talk about that. They don’t want to hear about that.”

No comment is necessary on that one.

Dr. Johnson points out that Republicans think they can throw any black person out to get the black vote. There are two dynamics here. It is hard to find a thinking black person willing to run under the Republican platform. Secondly, there is a level of disrespect to run someone who displays the incompetence that Herschel Walker shows.

But I love Dr. Johnson’s segment closing commentary.

“The core issue here is that you’ve got too many Republicans who rather mix it up on Twitter, argue with people in articles, and do TED talks instead of actually interact with voters,” Johnson said. “When you actually want to represent America, you got to get in the ring and compete with people instead of getting in front of a ring light to advance your Twitter followers and your TikTok.”

Enough said.
