It is shameful how Right-Wing groups like the NRA misinform their members, defraud them, and ridicule them as they live high on their hard-earned money. Ali Velshi once again nails it.

The NRA takes their members’ money and lavishly lives on it as they ridicule them. We can count on Ali Velshi to aggregate the corroborative stories that paint the entire picture.

“If you pull down the exhibit hall, that’s not going to leave anything for the media except the members’ meeting,” NRA lobbyist Marion Hammer said. “And you’re going to have the wackos with all kinds of crazy resolutions, with all kinds of dressing like a bunch of hillbillies and idiots. And, it’s gonna be the worst thing you can imagine.”

It is clear that they have no respect for their own members. But as Velshi points out, the organization uses a fraction of the money it collects for any education but spends the bulk on misinformation campaigns. Worse is the money skimmed off for $200,000 in travel, $39,000 in a shopping spree, and so much more. NBC reported it as follows.

NRA records showed LaPierre using the organization to pay for private planes, including for his wife, Susan, who co-chairs the NRA’s Women’s Leadership Forum, and for other family members, according to the suit. None of the flights were necessary for security reasons, nor were they approved by the organization’s board, the suit says.

The flights’ costs amounted to millions of dollars, according to the suit, which alleges that:
