Soon, you won’t own your homes. This system is killing home ownership and your future.

Unfettered capitalism has laid the foundation. As we fight over frivolities, they take ownership of homes and everything else and rent it back to us, stealing our wealth.

Unfettered capitalism will ultimately take our homes

I have an “Ask Egberto Anything” session on Zoom on the first Saturday of every month. We postponed June for one week since I had to move my daughter from DC to Texas. We had our session today.

One of our Politic Done Right regular listeners asked a rather striking question. She wondered if somebody hypnotized the unleashed mass killers infecting the country into perpetrating their evil. While it may seem conspiratorial to some, I believe a sort of hypnosis has affected our society from its inception. A system instilled hate for the other into these killers, purposefully radicalizing them to keep a certain level of friction, angst, and confusion in society.

A country in turmoil concerns itself about that immediate turmoil instead of causality. It may seem disjointed, but our society has many triggers to ensure that we are under some form of hypnosis to behave how our new masters want us to act.

Only some form of hypnosis would have us support a healthcare system that bankrupts us instead of a proven one in effect worldwide that ensures healthcare for all as a right. Only some form of brainwashing would have us accept the false reasons for inflated gasoline prices when there is enough supply to meet the demand. The system had hypnotized us against many other policies beneficial to us all.

In almost every major city, corporations are buying homes not necessarily to sell but to rent. Because they have deep pockets, they can take millions of homes off the market, leaving a dwindling supply. This cause many bidders for one home, which ultimately prices the entire middle-class out of home ownership. Independent Journalist and Real Estate Agent Robby Caban discussed this in a New York Times article a few months ago.

Under capitalism, capital reigns. Humanity is immaterial. It is not our natural state. The heavy hands of government (we-the-people) are necessary to correct capitalism’s aberration. As Americans became progressively brighter, Lewis Powell created the dummying-down document under which we have been living since 1971. It defined the necessary institutions to generate the bane of our destruction. Since then, the Heritage Foundation, Cato Institutes, and other organizations have taught too many Americans to hate government and the regulations needed to prevent a capitalist system from taking it from the many and giving it to the few.

So, we hate and distrust the entity that we have the power to elect and unelect, our government. But we have faith in the corporations whose sole purpose is to make a profit via the tenet “whatever the market will bear,” giving them full pricing power with our inability to remove them from power. Only hypnosis can have many support policies that hurt us financially, healthwise, and socially by consistently voting against our interests.

I use my platforms to inform. I understand it is an uphill battle when fighting against those with deep pockets to keep seeding misinformation. But I believe we will get receptive ears as we continue to see the destruction our system causes. Independent Media leveraged by the grassroots can ultimately get the job done via geometric progression.
