Imam Malik Mujahid of Muslim Network TV interviewed me recently. High gasoline and petroleum prices are not justified.
Muslim Network TV contacted me after reading the short article I wrote titled “There’s an oil glut, not a shortage. High prices are a worldwide fraud by corporations. Here’s why.” I clarified that oil corporations are executing fraud on the world with their cartels.
Imam Malik Mujahid asked several knowledgeable questions. He first asked why I believed gasoline prices were unjustified. I explained that the oil corporations have been affecting a fraud on the world for a very long time. I contend that there was never an oil shortage. The oil cartel has always manufactured shortages. The earth’s petroleum content has not changed substantially over the lifetime of oil usage.
I said that oil companies are a fraud in the world. Mujahid appeared a bit shocked at the strong statement. I expressed that any company that decimated the poor and middle class not because of their internal costs but because they have pricing power is evil and fraudulent.
He asked if oil companies are fraudulent, why isn’t the government doing something about it. I explained that the government was complicit. Corporations buy politicians.
I further explained that corporations are happy to misinform Americans about the real reasons for gasoline price hikes. The fault is a failed private sector (supply chain, offshoring, and price gouging), not Biden or Russia.
Mujahid asked why are the environmentalist relatively silent. I pointed out that it could be strategic. We cannot give the plutocrats a pathway to blame green energy as a cause for high gasoline and energy prices.
One of the most critical questions Imam Mujahid asked was why Americans are not more upset and engaging with the actual perpetrators of high prices. Rampant corporate-driven misinformation misleads many. Presenting the pertinent information is the only solution to empower those the corporate oil cartel abuses.
