Why President Biden would have been derelict in his duty if he did not give MAGA Republican speech.

President Biden’s recent speech in Philadelphia called out MAGA Republicans’ fascistic nature. It was his duty as the country’s executive. Absent this call-out, it would have been a dereliction of his duty.

MAGA Republicans rightfully called out.

The Right is so used to timid responses from the Left that they are in complete convulsions as the President pushes back against their attempt to turn America into a fascist state. They did not expect a Democrat, let alone one that they portrayed as being old and weak, to knock them as hard as he has.

Right Wing hosts and pundits are hyperventilating on Fox News, Newsmax, and OAN. They now know that the days of timid pushback are over. They are a clear and present danger, and the Left and centrists are addressing them as such.

The Atlantic staff writer Tom Nichols was on point as he described Biden’s actions.

“If the president hadn’t given this speech, he would have been derelict in his duty as the chief executive, in his constitutional duty to defend the Constitution of the United States The Constitution is under attack,” Tom Nichols said. “It’s under attack from an organized from the majority of an organized political party. And for him not to acknowledge that reality in public would have been a dereliction of his duty.”

But Tom was not done there. In fact, I thought the same about the speech.

“I thought the attempt to divide out the MAGA Republicans,” Tom continued. “I understood why he had to do it. That was a political formula to say I understand that there are still somewhere out there centrist Republicans. But the MAGA Republicans have taken over the institutional Republican Party and its elected members. When he talks about working with Republicans, I think it’s a tough sell to say who. Who are they? Who are these? You know, rational and reasonable Republicans left that you’re working with? And I think, you know, to hit that point, to say, look, this is, and you know, this is not, and he did say this. These are not normal times. This is not a normal political movement.”

If Democrats continue on the path of challenging Republicans on every issue, there will be a blue wave. After all, only one party is currently delivering freedom and some level of support. And that party is not the Republican Party.
