The GenZ and Millennial generations saved Democracy in America & here's the proof.

While too many Baby Boomers, older GenXers, and seniors bought into Reagan’s voodoo economics, it took the Millennial and GenZ generations, as a group, to act on it as the scourge that it is.

GenZ & Millennial generations came through.

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

First of all, I want to thank the GenZ and Millennial generations for saving our Democracy. It is all in the numbers. Too often, politicians do not give young people a motive to vote. Policies are catered to older Americans. Many times they feel that policies on both sides are detrimental. Granted, Republican misinformation and Democratic messaging ineptitude give the impression that the GenZ and Millennial folks have nothing to lose or gain absent their vote. Of course, that is not true, but they infer that message.

The confluence of events woke up these young people. Student Loan Forgiveness, marijuana, abortion, and freedom, among many other issues young people care about, were on the ballot. And guess what? The young people came out at higher rates than normal. Most importantly, they voted more Democratic than any other Demographic.

As an older GenXer or a younger Bab Boomer (depending on which charts I use), I feel a sense of guilt for where our country is economically and politically. I feel this way mostly because too many in my generation bought into Reagan’s economic fraud. His implementation of supply-side economics, aka voodoo economics per George HW Bush, aka Reaganomics per Reagan sycophants, stole the wealth of the middle class and transported it directly to the wealthy.

The above charts give me hope but also point out that shortsightedness and selfishness propelled by Reaganomics continue in too many in the Baby Boomer and Silent generation persist. It seems like the GenZ and Millennial generations may do the right thing for us all.
