What happened to Lindsey Graham? He once was a relatively serious guy. Now he kisses Trump posterior even when Trump chides him. Now Trump says he will “straighten” him out.

There was a time when Senator Lindsey Graham ran around with Senator John McCain. While his ideology is diametrically different than mine — I am a staunch Progressive — at least he seemed consistent in his belief system. As shown in the first part of the clip, he initially identified Trump for exactly who he is, a racist, homophobic, misogynist sexist during the 2016 presidential campaign. It was then that Trump went as low as to give away Graham’s cell phone number.
So what happened? After Trump’s attempted coup, it seemed like Graham would leave the sycophancy. He said he had had it with Trump. It would not be long thereafter that he would be back on board the Trump train again. And not so long, Graham even appeared on Fox News begging their poor constituents to fund the purported billionaire’s legal fees.
And what has Graham received in return? Embarrassment. Recently Lindsey got booed as he appeared on stage with Donald Trump. Did Trump help out his sycophant with the crowd? NOPE! Instead, he piled on as he further embarrassed Graham.
“You can make mistakes on occasion,” Trump said. “Even Lindsey down here, Senator Lindsey Graham. We love the Senator. We’re gonna love him. I know it’s half and half, but when I need some of those liberal votes, he’s always there to help me get them. We got some pretty liberal people, but he’s there when you need him. I’m gonna get him straightened up.”
Was the “straightened up” a coded message?
