I wrote this book and then put it away mostly because I had a lot of other stuff going on. Given several realities including a couple of health scares, I decided to put it out there. It was cathartic, and I am sure in my experience, you will find some similarities that are a catalyst to move forward.
This publication is my first non-political book. After my experience finishing up the book, I realized that I am interested in writing more than strictly political books. I’ve had three, well really four other books in the pipeline for some time and after checking out my Amazon author’s dashboard, I realize only one is purely political. One has to do with becoming a blogger, the other on surviving a challenging economy, and another on how to remake one’s self.
Why this book?
The first reason to get this because it is a short, easy, and informative read that I am sure would give insights into how one can handle the weight issue most of us are afflicted with throughout our lives. I wrote it without hesitation illustrating my failures. It even has a few passages that will make you laugh as I did rereading before publishing it.
The second reason is the reality that for some, carrying too many pounds can be deadly. I found that our first hand as I came close to the brink because of my blood pressure’s correlation to weight. That isn’t true for everybody but for many its. Just note I was a few moments from a catastrophic stroke with a blood pressure of 240+/140+. My doctors appointment last week registered 110/78 and the doctor was debating with himself whether to take me off most of the medications. I went from 4 to 2 and then 2-1/2. In the book I explain everything that I did.
