Chris Matthews was on Morning Joe and challenged the Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus for the Mitt Romney campaigns subliminally racist, ethnic, and classist campaign. It is evident that many of the Right Wing Republicans are so used to no push back that they continue to push the envelope.
What was interesting is how taken aback Preibus was when challenged by Chris. It was evident he was placed completely out of his comfort zone and he fell apart. I could understand that Joe Scarborough would question Chris’s conclusion on the racist inferences of the Mitt Romney campaign. What was disconcerting however was Mika Brzezinski silence and Tom Brokaw’s attempt to balance Democratic negative advertising (which is generally truthful and factual) with Republican negative advertising which is general an act of intellectual fraud and lie ridden narratives.

Chris Matthews is to the left what Sean Hannity is to the right. Both of their political perspectives are skewed and far from mainstream.
You are correct that he is left. I am left. I think we both respect other points of view. That said is that as a lefty I have an ideology and tell the truth about it. The Right tries to make the ideology plausible by provably lying about its effects.
