Jon Stewart Dissects Fox Spin & Provides Economic Lecture One Would Expect From Mainstream Media

September 20, 2012 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

imageI promise my blog posts will not become a promo for the Jon Stewart’s Daily Show. These three clips however were too prescient not to really blog about them.

In my conservative (with a good percentage of Right Wingers) community, I have noticed that many inasmuch as they watch Fox News, they also watch the Daily Show. The presentation that Jon Stewart makes in these three videos I think was very effective in knocking down the credibility of Fox News, something that should have been the job of the serious media.

I watch Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, HLN, and my local news. No other network is as blatant in their bias and level of misinformation. What is pathetic is that the reputable news departments of ABC, CNN, CBS, NBC, and others have failed the public in actually making Fox News the subject of an expose. A story about a presumably serious news station that lies and misinforms is a real news stories. After all they are using the airwaves that belong to us all, to materially change the outcome of our election based on phony information. Lies do not have gradation.

Be aware that the videos use the word BS a few times but given the context it is most appropriate in my most humble opinion. Please especially pay attention to the last video as that is where the truthful economic breakdown occurs. If every time a politician of any party came out and spoke misinformation our learned media would immediately sanction them with truth, they would think twice before doing so.
