Republican blogger Jim Geraghty believe President Obama did ONE good thing
As usual Real Time with Bill Maher’s Overtime is usually more leisurely and sometimes even more entertaining. It is where questions submitted by folks on the Internet are answered by Bill Maher and his guests.
Jim Geraghty, a Right Wing blogger at National Review Online was asked if there was anything President Obama has done that the GOP does not consider a scandal. Jim Geraghty had a rather strange answer. The only thing he could think of that could not be considered a scandal was a speech President Obama gave to the nation’s children in his first year.
Jim Geraghty went on to talk about the speech being a speech telling children that life was not easy. They had to work hard. They could not count on music or athletics. Jim Geraghty loved the message because it is a message he will also drill into his son.

He got a stimulus passed that saved the country from falling off the cliff. He passed a healthcare law that is saving the lives of millions by providing previously non-existent care or screenings.
The President passed a law that ensures equal pay for equal work ensuring women had recourse against wage discrimination. He did what President Bush was unable to do, capture and kill Osama Bin Laden.
Yet, Jim Geraghty could only think about a speech the president gave as something worth
