While at first I wished Ms Soledad O’Brien had included the immigrant black experience as well, on reflection I think it would not have added to the narrative. I am extremely happy that she showed a balanced approach. It was not all negative as most documentaries on blacks tend to be. Finally a documentary that shows that just as within all other communities blacks have different levels of successes and failures.
