Rand Paul is honest to his Extreme Libertarian  values which is diametrically opposed to what most Americans want. He is not shy in expressing his views like most of his fellow protégés.  As such his civil rights stance notwithstanding will give Democrats a fighting chance to claim the seat. If the Democratic Senatorial candidate is able to show how Libertarianism will make the lives of Kentucky residents worst especially given their large economically disadvantaged population, populism will swing the seat.
