A loving family should not have to go through legal nightmares just to be "officially" together. If we spent more time ensuring that functional families are able to stay together as opposed to designing a prototype family that likely never existed, society would be better for it.
If gay priest and evangelists are incapable of honing their affinity for same sex relationships, even as they preach against it, should that not give us intellectual pause on our arcane laws towards homosexual marriage, adoption and relationships?
