It is time for the government to get real with the Americans. It is not in corporate interest to get this economy functioning any better as long as they can make profits with no investments for the foreseeable future as they are now. Government need not play the corrupt capitalist game. Banks don’t lend, let the government enter banking and lend. Private sector don’t hire, then let the government create entities that hire and materially produce.
Capitalism as designed circa 1981 has failed.
