#SarahPalin doesn’t speak for me – Emily’s List #p2 #tcot

Stand up to Sarah Palin and her Mama GrizzliesIf you’re anything like me, then you’ve had enough of Sarah Palin and her so-called "Mama Grizzlies" saying that they speak for all of us. Well, that’s just not true: Palin and the extremist candidates she endorses stick up for corporations, not working families. They’re against health care and for Wall Street interests. And they sure as heck are not on the side of American women and our right to choose.

That’s why we’re asking you to join us today to send a message, loud and clear: Sarah Palin, you do NOT speak for us. We know what’s best for our families, our health, and our country — and we’re going to make sure our voices are heard when it counts the most: on Election Day in November. Tell Sarah right now she doesn’t speak for you by signing our pledge to vote in November.

Show Sarah Palin that she does not speak for us by learning the truth about her band of candidates and signing our pledge to vote in November.

Sometimes you need a little humor to help get out the real story — and to show just how backwards-looking the policies of Sarah Palin and her candidates truly are. So, we decided to have some fun by making a video that has a serious message at its core: simply put, the election of Sarah’s candidates would be devastating, and their agenda is frankly outrageous.

The fact is, this is personal: it’s about our families, our children, and our right to control our own bodies. Sarah and the far-right candidates she endorses are just not good for us. We need candidates who actually fight for what matters to women — not the lobbyists, special interests, or corporations.

Luckily we have candidates who fight for women — and we’re fighting for those who stand with us, like Sen. Barbara Boxer of California, Sen. Patty Murray of Washington, and many more great women running in House races around the country. Join us today in telling Sarah Palin and her extremist allies that she doesn’t speak for you by signing our pledge — and tell your friends to sign, too.

Watch our video and sign our pledge to vote in November.

I’m tired of Sarah Palin thinking she knows what’s best for us, and I’m ready to take action and make sure that we send her allies a clear message in November. Will you join me?
