- A poll from the generally Republican Hill Research Consultants has Bill 1 point back, with 14% undecided.
- A poll from the nonpartisan Zogby International has Bill within 3.8 points, with 13.5% undecided.
- A poll from the generally Democratic Public Policy Polling has Bill within 6 points, with 10% undecided.

- Bill’s new television ad on border security will be on the air this week in parts of the state. Bill is supported by sheriffs representing 98% of Texans living in border counties, and his border security plan is gaining support from law enforcement officials throughout the state.
