This article was in response to a letter from the editor by a Humble/Kingwood area resident in which he simply spouted Fox News / Rush Limbaugh style non-facts. I had to address it directly.
It is imperative that clear thinking people be vocal when newspapers, radio stations, television stations, people at parties, people at the gyms, people in the supermarkets, people at coffee shops, people at restaurants, and everywhere not mentioned, distort, misinform, lie about, and/or misrepresent that which is negatively affecting the country and its root cause. We must ensure real information flow so that citizens can vote in the best interest of their family’s future, their financial future, and the country’s future.
Make no mistake, the Oligarchs and Plutocrats that comprise a substantial portion of the top two percent in the country have indirectly paid to control the minds of many through our media. They have paid for many politicians. They have purchased a favorable Supreme Court and they are in the process of attempting to purchase a President. It is our job to prevent this.
