America’s Corporate Control Makes The Individual A Controlled Pawn For Profit Generation

We are a corporate controlled country. Republicans, Blue Dog Democrats, and Corporatist Democrats have pretty much relinquished our governance to our corporations. The Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision has given Corporations more Rights than the individual in the political process. This will ensure that unlimited amounts of corporate money will be spent in the attempt to misinform Americans into supporting politicians with corporate interest as opposed to the interest of the middle class.

An illustrative example of the intrusive influence corporations have on our lives is evident with the story reported in many newspapers of Bank Of America reducing a customer’s credit score because of a letter he sent trying to identify the actual owner of the customer’s mortgage. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Corporations are now our government. They have setup mutual structures that determine how the individual can operate in this corporate economy. If the individual “misbehaves” the corporate structure has metrics that ensure the individual cannot perform in the economy.

The only solution to this dilemma is intelligent Class Warfare. The individual must fight against the corporation, oligarchs, and plutocrats. Middle Class Americans must wake up and educate themselves so they are not the gullible citizens as they were over the last thirty plus years.

The middle class must ensure the misinforming media is not allowed to conflate unfettered Capitalism with Free Enterprise. The Right Wing’s attempt is to convince Americans that the religion, unfettered Capitalism, is somehow associated with America’s freedom and its ability to be in business for one self. That is patently false. After-all, China is a Capitalist society. Would one call China a free society? Absolutely not.

The saving grace is Free Enterprise. It means exactly that. Everyone is free to enterprise on their own or for somebody else. Unfortunately policies purchased by the corporatist have all but killed Free Enterprise in the country. Even the small businessman is at the whim of corporations.

Banks decide if one can stay in business even as taxpayers lend them money. Technology companies challenge innovation with the flawed patent system. Food conglomerates patent seeds and force farmers with cross pollinated fields to use their genetically engineered products or pay up. Insurance conglomerated skimming healthcare dollars from our taxes and pockets. One could go on and on.

America must grow up. America must read. Unfortunately with the Right’s constant attack on the educated and the electing or supporting of many of marginal intellect, education is not hip anymore. Only education can prevent America’s corporate control from making the individual a controlled pawn for corporate profit generation.
