Wisconsin is proof positive that the American Middle Class is under assault. It is ironic that those most responsible for the economic decline that exacerbated the budgetary problems of the states want the middle class to pay for said malfeasance.
Marginal tax increases from those that benefited from the dramatic increase in wealth is much more advantageous to our economy than massive budget cuts. It is imperative that they pay their fair share relative to what the country’s economic structure have provided them. Moreover, it is better for the economy as their ill-gotten wealth was not even reinvested in America.
