Thank you Mr. President…You’re Awesome … Just a Snippet Of Your Accomplishments

I received this email from my mother earlier today. I was taken aback because most of the times I get any chain letters with President Obama in the title, it is usually a hateful misleading chain letter intent on misinforming Americans into doubting arguably one of the most thoughtful, thinking, pragmatic, and effective presidents we have had in some time.

Many of us have allowed the negative narrative on our President to go unchallenged. An unchallenged narrative tend to become a false truth in the minds of those who are looking for a reason to dislike, object to, or hate this president for an “acceptable reason.

That said, it is important that going forward we do not stay on the defensive. In other words we should not only be challenging the fallacies that are disseminated in an orchestrated manner against the president. We must also be on the offensive by constantly and effectively disseminating truthful and accurate information on the accomplishments of the administration with corroborating information. We must disseminate this information via all mediums including blogs, websites, email, radio, TV, and letter to editors in newspapers, magazines, and any venue that anyone reads or listens to.

I took the liberty to update the narrative subtly to reflect a few more events likely since it was published. Anyone wanting other accomplishments or deeds included can send me an email to that effect.

Major Accomplishments:

  • Stimulus That Prevented A Depression
  • Healthcare Reform No Other President was able to pass
  • Wall Street Reform
  • The New G.I. Bill
  • Food Safety Modernization Act
  • Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Repeal
  • START Treaty
  • 9/11 Responder Healthcare Bill
  • Tax Cut Extensions for the middle class (and wealthy..)
  • Much more
