The Kingwood Area Democrats participated in a fund drive for KPFT FM 90.1, Pacifica Houston TX. This is a Progressive radio station with a history of supporting the causes of all Americans. It is a station that was bombed by the KKK and even recently has been shot through windows by presumed Right Wing sympathizers.
While answering calls in fact we received many Right Wing callers who evidently got their misinformation from FoxNews. We encouraged them to continue listening to the station. In fact I invited a man from Humble to come join the Kingwood Area Democrats to support policies that support the ability of all Americans to succeed.
Kingwood Area Democrats’ participants included Deborah Mowrey, Barbara Madera, and Egberto Willies.
