I ultimately have faith in the American people. What is important is that Americans get the real information. Unfortunately all our media networks are controlled by or dependent on major corporations.
The reality that major corporation are ultimately the funding sources for the mass media means these will either take a pro corporate stance irrespective of values or as FoxNews does, outright lie and deceive in order to have Americans vote against their own interest.
It is for this reason that Net Neutrality (I HATE THAT TECHNICAL SOUNDING TERM) must be supported. In English, we must support an open and unrestricted Internet. Given that none of the networks or given the American the full truth the Internet via blogs and websites is the only option for the average American.
