One cannot help but be proud of New York for passing marriage equality. It was the courageous thing to do.

We must commend the 4 Republicans who under much pressure from their Right Wing stood tall and did the right thing.

They must be supported going forward. After all it is not about party but policy. If we reward those who vote for good policies we would likely get better policy.
