I knew I had to do something to really set myself apart from the other realtors in town. In this terrible economy, home buyers were scarce so we realtors practically fought over each new potential client. Particularly in the high end price range, we were hurting for clients, so I had to do something to really make myself stand out. I noticed after doing some web searching that most of my competitors lacked one simple thing: a website. I figured getting my own site up there would be a relatively easy way of marketing my services so I enlisted the help of my friend Karen, a web designer. She walked me through the entire process, from domain searches to domainnames.com to hosting packages. I never realized how little I knew about computers until we went through this process! It’s too early to tell but I really think that business is looking up and that the website was a great investment. Only time will tell but I’m excited to garner how much my business has improved.
