Progressive Policies grow the economy
Sometimes it takes someone to retell us something most progressives know to reiterate a truth that continues to be bastardized by not only Right Wing media but implicitly by all mainstream media. David Goodfriend provides an excellent synopsis that illustrates through history the success of Progressive Policies providing real growth.
Inasmuch as the evidence is there for us to see, from Roosevelt, to Eisenhower, to Clinton, it is evident that Progressive Policies do more not only for the middle class but for America in general. Sadly our mainstream media continues to give credence to the Conservative Policies that over and over again have done two negatives to our country, the pilfering of the middle class and the destruction of the economy as a whole.\
While Reagan spoke Conservative Policies, much spending under his administration was very implicitly progressive. Interesting enough the bastion of Conservatism used backdoor Keynesian policies to bring back the economy.
One can only hope that before 2012 enough Progressives will be bold enough to illuminate in every venue our Progressive values. One cannot be timid when confronting the generally caustic behavior of those pushing the failed supply side positions.
