I am not an Online Broker but I have traded stocks. In the early days before the Internet bust in the 1990s, I did Stock Trading as there was no tomorrow. Some days I would have 20 trades. It seems like I was pulling money out of the air. I remember looking at my IRA Accounts and saying this could not be real. Friends saw what I was doing and saw how my account was doing and they decided to get in. It was hot times.
Then came the bust. I remember just before the bust I purchased AOL because I thought a Time Warner/AOL merger was a sure win. Suffice it to say it was not a smart move. I remember then I was not quite as able to make quick moves in trading. After-all Mobile Trading was not yet in vogue. I do not even think there was such a thing as a smart phone. Online Trading was the thing but you had to be based at your computer. Now with the ubiquity of WIFI, with the ubiquity of smartphones, and with the ubiquity of Pads we have the ubiquity of trading. I TRADE ONLINE AND I LOVE IT.
