My parents are getting up in years. I do not live near them and I am so grateful for unlimited long distance because I call them every day, sometimes twice a day. They are still alert and very active for their ages, but I feel they need additional safety measures in place. I decided to check out www.Securitychoice.com. There was a lot of information on there. My dad feels as if he is in the Wild Wild West and it will be shoot ‘em up time. He does not see the need for it. My mother is very receptive to the idea and has even told my brother about it. I enjoy the humor my dad injects into the conversation but it is also a serious topic. I finally convinced him to make the leap into the 21st century and he calls me every day to thank me. They are sleeping better and that gives them more energy to enjoy the games of golf and the volunteering they still like to do. I also know my kids will feel safer when they visit them.
