As an investor I always do business with companies that I can trust and that offers me good value. I always like to use word of mouth before I open IRA Accounts, after all, that is my retirement.
When I find an Online Broker that I am comfortable with doing my Online Trading, my Mobile Trading, or my Stock Trading I generally stick with them for a long time. I generally do not contemplate a move based solely on price as my time is worth money and a complicated move can be quite time consuming.
Now do not get me wrong, giving the number of trades I am likely to make in the future if the price is right I will do a time analysis and switch appropriately. To be honest though in the twenty five to thirty one years I have been trading I have only changed brokerage firms four times. Of course in the earlier days there were not many to chose from and there were no online trading firms or companies.
