Rick Perry shows his better side in the debate and most of the talking heads consider it a faux pas. Rick Perry and most Republicans and Democrats in Texas, above and beyond the immigration rhetoric allows kids who for no fault of their own were brought to this country without documents the ability to get educated in Texas like any other Texan.
Perry got attacked for this policy. In strong confident Rick Perry style he defended his position. That was the one time in the debate I was proud of my Governor. Unfortunately his base was not.
