imageWe’re excited for our first event in the Houston area on October 16th!

  • When: Sun, October 16, 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
  • Where: Main Event Entertainment, 1125 Magnolia Avenue, Webster, TX
    Purpose of this Event

  • To connect Houston-area Democrats and to facilitate the idea-sharing of our local clubs
  • To inform students about key issues we are facing today
  • To motivate students to participate in campaigns and in advocacy.
  • To build relationships between students and their elected representatives
    Discussions

  • High school club formation
  • How a club can get more involved on campus and in the community
  • Important issues of today— education and environment
    Trainings

How to work in a campaign

Networking

Connecting with fellow young democrats and meeting our representatives

The goals of THSD are:

  • To grow the high school student Democratic network and spread Democratic ideals among the student body
  • To inspire students to participate in the political process and work for the future of our state.
  • To provide a core group of committed volunteers to our representatives and senators.
