When a politician asks for your vote under the premise that he will have your interest and not only corporate interest at hand, no one can blame you for believing him. After-all we must give our fellow citizens the benefit of the doubt. It is understandable that Republicans will vote for the Republican candidate if they believe other than sharing their nominal ideology he or she will vote their interests.
As seen below Dan Huberty inasmuch as he touts support for his constituents, 97% of all that he voted for or against was not in our interest.
Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or otherwise, Dan Huberty has a record. After comparing how what he has done in Austin materially affects you, your family, your children, and our community a vote for him again would be insanity defined by some as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Is it now time to elect someone like us. Someone who has been in the trenches. Someone who is educating our children. Someone who knows that the draconian cuts on our education while a temporary corporate boost is a drag on our kids education that will materially affect their educational and economic well-being going forward. If we want change that will benefit our children and our community we must elect someone who legitimately have our interests at hand. We must elect Cody Pogue.
