My friend Cliff Olney excellent iReport on CNN’s coverage using the Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute. He is very concerned that CNN has not pressed their representative when they assert their statements.
Cliff Olney said: The Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute are not legitimate as far as information that is unbiased and so to bring them on I think is disingenuous. At best to allow your viewers to see them as being credible as some kind of intellectuals that would look at all the facts and judge it to be even – cause it’s not. And the same thing when you bring a Heritage Foundation guy on and he says that teachers are paid too much. Are you crazy? To even listen to this guy without pressing him – where does he come up with his facts and reasons. He has an agenda and that is to pay any public employee less.
Well said Cliff. Unless more of us speak up CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and all the other networks will continue to get their marching orders explicitly or implicitly from the plutocracy. At least this forum to address CNN is still open to the average American without too much censorship that allows you to get this message out.
