On December 16th, 2011 a group of Kingwood TX and the surrounding area residents effected an Occupy Kingwood event in front of US Congressman Ted Poe’s Kingwood office. The event was successful and many in this otherwise conservative community were very receptive.
Kingwood residents began blowing their horns in support of the event as well as the messages on the posters and signs. A police sergeant stopped by and spoke to Dr. Davis about the event. He was very friendly and after being reassured of the peaceful intent of the event immediately left with a handshake.
