Occupy Kingwood – A Sustainable Form Of The Occupy Movement

January 7, 2012 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

2012-01-07_09-50-43_2702012-01-07_10-05-31_703There was another successful Occupy Kingwood rally today Saturday 7th, 2012. It was decided that this event will be held every Saturday between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM to raise awareness of the plight of the middle class even in a relatively affluent community like Kingwood, TX.

Again most of the people who drove by were more supportive than not.

What a load of crap! Whine all you want. Jobs are there to be had and if you don’t like what you’re getting paid get another job and learn about supply and demand. There are hundreds of thousands of liberal arts bull majors graduating college and very few Engineers. Engineers get paid more because the supply is low and the demand is high. It’s getting so that machinists, welders and millwrights will get paid more than teachers because the demand is still there and you teachers have demeaned those occupations sending fewer and fewer people into the trades… so supply is down and demand is either steady or increasing. Teach the kids that working with your hands is an honorable thing to do. Quit whining you only work 9 months and the hours aren’t even full time. I work my ass off 12-14 hours a day and the damn government takes 1/2 of what I earn… how is that fair??? I earned it not some piece of crap bureaucrat and they’re the ones taking the product of my work and sending it to foreign aid, bailing out corporations and generally wasting my money. If ANYONE appreciated what I provided, maybe I wouldn’t be bitter, but I’m tired of Government Saps Stealing the product of my time and effort.
