Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

In 2008, young voters turned out like never before, tipping the scales in favor of progressive politics.
Join us on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the University of Houston Main Campus, University Center from 10am until 5pm, as we aim to do it again in 2012.

The Youth of the Union is a free, all day conference designed to energize and excite young voters about participating in the 2012 elections.

This full-day event will feature workshops and panel discussions all focused on ways young people can get engaged in the political process, the tools young people need to feel empowered and how to make every single vote count.

Our featured speaker will be State Representative Jessica Farrar, leader of the House Democratic Caucus and the founder and Vice-Chair of the Women’s Health Caucus.
Help us by spreading the word to any young people or youth-oriented organizations you may know.  The conference is free to all attendees, but we do ask that participants register via our website (http://cts.vresp.com/c/?HoustonStonewallYoun/2a5a90bb3e/TEST/06cdc47a6e).

Attendance is free thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and underwriters like the National Stonewall Democrats, the Houston Stonewall Young Democrats, the Rice Democrats, the Young Democrats of America South-Central Region, Judge Steven Kirkland, State Senator John Whitmire and State Representative Jessica Farrar. *
