Interview Of Pro-Life 17 year old Catherine At Planned Parenthood Rally In Houston

March 12, 2012 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

I interviewed many pro-lifers at the Planned Parenthood “Don’t Mess With Texas Women” Rally in Houston. Most of them were your standard rabble rousers that you could see right through. I met this 17 year old named Catherine that impressed me. I had a long talk with her before I put her on camera. I asked her to get her mother so I could get permission to put her on video.

I disagree with her completely. That said, her consistency and honesty on the abortion issue is commendable. Many of the politicians and others that try to jump on the pro-life band wagon tend to allow for exceptions for incest, rape, or some other reason. This is completely inconsistent if you believe that the fetus is a full human to be guaranteed full rights of the born.

My only concern with Catherine is that she does not allow for any other beliefs that are not based on her interpretation of the bible. As such her ideology discounts the beliefs of most of the entire world. The hopeful sign with her is that she does not believe in violence as does many of the folks in the pro-life movement (protect the fetus at all cost).

Great example of a respectful exchange on what is usually a very difficult subject.

Abortion is wrong, it takes the life of a human being. A child’s conception has no correlation as to his or her right-to-life.
