Mitt Romney’s Strong Defense Of Health Insurance Mandates Implicit Support Of Obamacare

“Obamacare ’cause Obama cares”

imageOne of Mitt Romney’s biggest promises to the conservative base is the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Of course while the Supreme Court could make parts of the bill unconstitutional, Romney would never get support in the senate to have it repealed.

I doubt if even Republicans in the Senate would allow this bill to lapse given that the actual outcome on the population at large would be so devastating simply from the portions of the bill already enacted. The genius of the implementation was completely ignored by the media.

One of the reasons, though not well advertised, was to stagger implementation for the minor reason of needing time to get the bill up and running as well as to fulfill the promise of it being nominally budget neutral. However popular parts of the bill were implemented that allows the president to campaign on its benevolence to soccer moms (college parents to be). Many of which will attend one of the online colleges for a degree. After-all, your child can now be on your healthcare insurance till they are 26+ years old, a vital benefit in times where kids stay in college longer and have a harder time finding a job.

Many with pre-existing conditions have options NOW! Caps are mitigated. Any Republican voting to repeal Obamacare is voting to repeal health benefits for soccer moms and middle class families. BRING IT ON!

The video below is a must see on mister flip flopper.
