Occupy Kingwood week 15 was successful and continuing. We had two new faces and thankful for them as they solved this week’s severe gender gap.
The morning started like usual. I got up, got some coffee, went to my office to do a bit of research for my Coffee Party USA radio show Politics Done Right with Egberto Willies. This week we were supposed to talk about both the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and the Trayvon Martin murder. But healthcare took the entire show.
Anyhow, it started out slow again. I went and got the donuts for our crew and got to an empty parking lot. Of course George showed up shortly with a bunch of new signs. He actually made a group of signs into a complete narrative. Take a look at the video as I scroll pass it. Patrick, Thilo, Brandon, and Professor Davis soon showed up and we were on. Our next state representative from State House District 127 of course showed up late. We will give him a break as he was likely busy working on his campaign to bring awareness to the district of the changes he will help bring to restore the excellence of the Humble School District that was decimated under the reign of our current State Representative Dan Huberty.
Elizabeth and Natalia, our newcomers came and brought the necessary feminine touch to our weekly informative rally. Our female stalwarts and leaders Stephanie, Bambi and Deborah took a necessary break. Well, Bambi was getting deputized as a voter registrar so I don’t know how much of a break that was.
